General Membership Meeting
December 8, 2006

Minutes of November 18, 2005 Annual meeting was disseminated to those present. Motion to approve minutes was made by Gail Ripka seconded by John Pickering. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s
report given by Gail Ripka, the current balance is $2,225.57. This does not include any income or expenses
from today’s workshop. Motion to
approve the treasurer’s report made by Maxine Barth, seconded by Mary Reed. Motion carried.
Legislative
Report- Peg Murphy reported that CMS is looking at Home Care Agencies receiving
a 3% rural add on and cutting physician oversight payments by 5%.
Web
Site-Jeff Workman, HCAI web site www.HCAI.org. Jeff Workman queried the members if they had any suggestion for
the web site to please email him. Jeff
states we could put a place on the web site for links and resources. Jeff will look into getting that set
up. Barb Tackitt said it was easy for
her to use the web site could be very beneficial for agencies.
Ruth
Ann Flowers presented the slate of officers as follows: President-elect-Mark
Hilliard, Secretary-Mary Reed, Board Members – Therese Macias, Jeff Workman,
John Pickering, Teresa Smith, Maxine Barth and Ruth Ann Flowers-Past President. The new officers were introduced and
installed.
